    how to clean port head?

    I just pull out my atc 110 head...how do you clean all combustion dust...what you using ...thanks for helping.

    Blast cabinets easiest most likely. Old school,,,,a dremel..
    Please help those who cannot help themselves.

    Take it completely apart and take the core to shop. inspect valve seats to ensure they are good and not mushroomed flat. if they are replace valves and get valve job. at a minimum lap the new valves in.

    Bead blast it with glass bead.
    It will come out perfect & not hurt anything.

    If you don't have access to a bead blaster, I used Suzuki Combustion Chamber cleaner to clean up heads for years. It is EXTREMELY caustic, and routinely ate thru thick rubber gloves. Think oven cleaner caustic. It would soften up the hard carbon deposits enough that they would come off with a stiff toothbrush.
