87 Tecate..Rust or corrosion in water cooling holes in head

Welp, I pulled her apart tonight to measure the BORE. Hoe much is a head, and base gasket? There was soem Rust/Corrosion in the Water coolign holes in the head, what does this mean? How do I fix it? is it normal?

there shouldn't be any "rust" in there because the metal in the cooling system (both the head and radiators) is non-ferrus.
Anti-freeze, and non-distilled water will eventually cake up and leave deposits.
Just scrape away what you can, as long as flow is not impeded you have nothing to worry about.
Top end gaskets are ~$19 or so (check dennis kirk)

Yea, its just some light type of corrosion/rust. I don't think it is blocking anything at all. I am stil learning more and more everyday about Tecate's, and 2 strokes. It is all new to me, and I wanted to make sure nuthhing was wrong.
