    x2

I did not think this would make much difference. I actually thought it would hurt the handling but I've had 3 good running Tecates in the past few years and the one with the +2 arm was a sweet ride. Much easier to control than the stock ones.

Do Alot of folks Trim holes into the Air box cover? Ive seen a few with them.
Its pretty cold here so that's probably good for it.

    .
don't put holes in your very expensive, discontinued, original air box cover unless you are racing for a national title . . most people that do this have no idea what they are doing and think the the bigger the carb the more hp they will have.

Yeah I was looking over the Intake system and it looks quite efficient, If i Needed more Air I'd just go to a Pod Filter and Save the Air box.

Most every tecate in the day had an extended swingarm and axle. For racing this was something you did almost immediately. It gave a much more stable ride. For the airbox, just make a new cover with holes out of plastic and save the oem piece. The larger carb is needed for top end power, full throttle. Realistically, the smaller carb is probably better for 99% of the riders. If you get engine work the carb was usually part of the package.
