    Carb suggestions for 1984 YTM200el?

So, I have rebuilt the carb on my Yamaha and I believe the float is sticking. After running rich for a while, the machine will begin to spit and sputter, then dump about 1/8 cup of gas back out the breather. I thought my issue was my choke, because when I went to tear into the issue, the choke plunger was corroded (probably because I didn't blow out the carb cleaner like I should have).

I am pretty new to this stuff, quite limited on the technical tools.

I am considering looking for a replacement carb. One that the parts are more readily available, but not sure what to look for.

    Suggestions please?

Have you replaced the needle and seat? Often a decent-looking needle can still be bad. The wee little spring inside for the plunger sags, which can alter the level at which the floats close the needle.
