After finally getting around to messing with the Z, I noticed it has an aftermarket carb. What thumb throttle cable works best with the 36mm flat side? I don't know if the current cable is OEM or another models cable. thanks

I would bet the stock cable will work. I know a stock thumb throttle won't open a 38mm all the way, but you could probably get it to pull that 36 to WOT.
