82 Honda 200 rear sprocket question

Well guys i just picked up an 82 Honda 200 that is in pretty decent shape(will put up pics later) for $250. The rear sprocket is alittle messed up so i am about to purchase a new one. Now I believe that the 200 models have the sprockets with the 5 dampers in them, correct? (like this) http://www.ebay.com/itm/201095789685 The one on the wheeler is just a plain sprocket so i believe that is what messed it up.

First off what model is it an 82 200e a 82 atc 200 plain jane different models take different sprockets and we must know what model it is before we can give you anymore info.

Like i said, it is an 82 plain 200 model(don't worry i know the difference). I had an 83 200 in the past that had the damper style sprocket on it, but was not sure if it was stock or not.

Yes your bike stock had the damper style rear sprocket according to partzilla dr atv and the link that you posted and actually that sprocket should work on your bike. Now the 83 200 had a different sprocket setup I know I have one. I am sorry for being alittle prickly about the model because you wouldn't believe how many people mistake the atc 200 plain jane for differnt bikes.

Thanks for the help! And i know what you mean, it gets very sickening sometimes. Alot of people do not realize there was a plain 200 model made, so assume its an S or E

Pretty nice bike it needs some work and those rear fenders are hard to find in good shape especially the left one. that is a aftermarket replacement bolt on style sprocket that is on it. You are correct the 200e and es were the only 200 to come with the racks already installed. But you could buy the racks from honda for almost all of there models.

oh and that tank isn't original too the bike its off of a atc 200e.
