so i have decided to start my "frankenstein project
what I'm starting with

200X frame
250R forks and tripple ??
350X swingarm and axle

mostly because thats all i have left of parts stash

for the engine I'm trying to rebuild one of my 200x engines but i think the trans is done as the shifter keeps clicking down
i have a couple of 185s and 200s engines and thinking of making a auto X if i can't get one of the 200x engines working properly

would rather prefer a clutch 200x engine since there more fun

any easy mods to do to the 200x to have it make more power?
i might need a cam for one of my other engines so whats the best one to get ahold of ?

I'm tuned in on this thread, as well.

Have you thought out the 250R front end yet? You'll need a donor neck, if you don't already have one.

The 350X rear swinger is a VERY good option ! I have never measured one, but as for width, how do they line up?

As for the engine, the sky is the limit. It all depends on what you want out of the power plant, keeping your cc limitations, in mind. Those details, can all be worked out.

the forks were already fitted to a 200x frame before

the stops were removed from the triple clamps

well got the engine fired yesterday and the trans is shot on the 200x engine just like i was thinking it might be when i was clicking threw the gears

i have another one with a stuck piston that I'm going to tear into


and the "frankenstein" is just going to be a shop beater toy so it won't look pretty by any standards might not have plastic but if it does it will be crappy

Ordered me a caliper bracket and a buddy gave me a banshee caliper

got the caliper installed

so a rear banshee caliper will work on the 350x

bad news the project has to be put on hold fro a while

Was working 7 days a week now I'm down to 6 days a week

Plus i have been working on a Tripple EEE buggy that I'm trying to finish before Christmas
