Hello, I bought an 85 250r yesterday and the left side case was broke where the clutch actuator is.
I read somewhere on the forums that any year water cooled left side case would fit it. Is this true? I'm unable to find just a left side case for year 85.

Yes any year water cooled 250r will fit, 85 to 86 ATC, and 86 to 89 trx 250r. Look up BDT motorsports. They can completely weld up the case and machine it down. it looms bran new, they do excellent work.

^^^ What hatc200x1 said. I just sent a set of cases to them and I am getting them repaired for about $150. You would probably be better off buying a set or having I repaired.

If you end up getting a different case, do not toss your old case because it can be fixed.

I took a good look at the case yesterday and it turns out it was broke at the bottom and not the top. It also had the clutch actuator which I didn't think it had.
I'm going to attempt to fix it if I can find a friend with a TIG welder that I can borrow.
