Help! Hunt for a Old Bike...Anyone here got it?

Hey guys! Was wondering if anyone here had an old bike my dad used to have when I was a kid...always wondered what happened to it. I don't bother asking about it because my dad gets pissed off if I bring it up, think he misses it

I don't have any pictures, just a description really, and some notable things. Bear with me here...

First off, I believe it was a second gen, most likely 86 200X, if it was a second gen it definitely would have been an 86, I don't remember 200X decals being on the tank, pretty sure it said ATC on the seat...I remember it being white and notable sportier than the 85 we kept and still have, as well as it being faster. That was "dads bike", mom had the 85. It may have been a first gen X (definitely a 200x period though) but I was about 5 years old when it got sold. 95% sure it was a second generation machine. If you have either generation and fits what about about to decribe below please let me know. Both were bought as a pair with helmets in 1992 for $500. They were mint.

The motor was rebuilt at one point. I do not know when. This would have been in the late 90s. I remember hearing about there being a hole in the piston. It may have had a Wiseco piston in it. Whoever bought it (I'm pretty positive it was dads buddies kid, Andy) I have heard put the wrong piston in it and blew it up. When we sold it we took the back rims and tires off it. I still have those. After that I have no idea what happened to it. I'm pretty sure it was rode for a bit though.

The headlight had a gaurd on it with a wire mesh stone gaurd you see on pickups and Jeeps. It was square. My dad made that. This is probably the most noteable thing. I remember it was silver, don't think it was chromed.

As far as I know this bike was not registered and never had plates. I do not know if it had a title.

This was about 15 years ago. I have not seen the bike since the year 2000 when we put up our new house (which is why we sold it for the money). It was sold for $500. The last time I saw it, it was ratchet strapped down in the back of a blue/teal 1/2 ton Chevy.

We had it in Indian Falls, NY. When it was sold it went to Alabama, NY, about 5 minutes away from us. It may be anywhere from Batavia, to Oakfield to Alexander to Medina to Attica. If anyone in the area has an X that had any of this stuff or recognizes part of this history of a specific machine, please let me know!! I don't want it back, I just wanna see where it is today and whats been done to it. For all I know it's in someones barn, half buried and not being used. I know it's a long shot, but it'd be cool if someone on here picked it up over the years.

Have you checked Buffalo and Rochester Craigslist? I've seen quite a few trikes pop up on there in the past year.
