    250R Stator Cover Grommet

    Does anybody have any information on these?

    Seems if i get a new stator from Ricky, it comes with a new grommet for the left side cover.

    Has anybody seen these anywhere? I have looked and coming up with NADA.

    I may give Rstator a call and see if i can't purchase a few of them?

    The electrical tape fix bothers me.

    What do you guys do with the electric wires protruding from your stator covers?

    One of my motors has the factory rubber grommet, another has electrical tape to keep the water out.

    Maybe you can find one on a donor motor. I've always been lucky and had ones that were in good shape. Hot glue might be a good option.

    I emailed R Stator.

    These guys are quick to respond!

    They do not sell the grommets individually.

    Seems there are grommets out there that would work. Will post when i find the one.

    You would think, hey if you need one 50 bucks or something or at least cover the profit they make on a stator.

    There is a member on here with the forum name- jeswinehart that molds some great stuff, drop him a line, maybe everyone (That needs one or wants a spare) can make out on this grommet repo.

    Just a thought.
