Alright thanks
Alright thanks
Not to bring an old thread back from the dead but, how did you get them tires to clear them fenders. Looks like they're propped up, could I get some pictures of that maybe? Just wondering cause I think I'm going to follow in your footsteps and do the same thing. Because man that looks sweet!!!
Winch is for the deep holes. Usually everyone gets stuck in those though. Thanks gents. It's a lot of fun. The only thing that doesn't clear are the mud flaps hanging out the back the tens to get caught by tire and fold in. Other wise nothing rubs. I am a little worried about the front fender bar bolts though if to much weight would be applied at the right angle it could gouge the trade in tire. Easy fix though. Rivet it instead of bolts
How is that winch plate attached to your tree?
The winch plate is welded to the bottom tree and bolted on the top tree using factory bolt holes.
Did you powder coat the fork sliders? Have you tried them since?
No kept them chrome. Have to powder coat the fork housing though. They are pretty scratched up. I do need a rebuild for them and don't know what type of forks they are.
You can rebuild the forks without knowing what they are off of.

As always- Everything I post is IMHO.
Well that's very exciting to find out. How would I go about getting a rebuild kit for them then? They are not from my ytm 200. I think they are off of a streetbike.
There is no rebuild kit per say.
Get the forks apart and cleaned then measure the top tubes and the OD on the fork seals and height, do the same measurements on the bushings, then PM me the info and I can cross them over for you and tell you where to buy them.

back end pic?did u find out the type of front forks they are? How does the rear end and motor handle those 27 inch rear tires? Link to the rims and tires?
video of it driving with those 27 inch tires?
I have not found out the forks but Iam taking them to a shop that will tell me and provide me with a rebuild kit. Rear end seems fine motor lags a bit if tires are not already spinning in mud but I fixed that. The rims - 12" ITP ss 212 the tires - 28-11-12 ITP mega mayhems.
