    honda 250r gearing

Hey guys, just bought an 85 250r and will be doing mostly trail riding in the woods with it, can you tell me your preferred gearing for this type of riding, I think 39r/13f is stock, correct me if I'm wrong, just looking for optimum gearing for this type of riding.

13/39 is stock gearing and its the best gearing for all types of riding. I wouldn't change. I can lug around trails in the woods with that gearing just as easily as I can roost gravel.

it all depends where you are riding!! At glamis I am at stock gearing and I love it, with a healthy motor not much gear shifting is needed.
