    yamaha 225dx steering

    Is the steering on a yamaha dx adjustable, pulls to the right when rideing, when handle bars are straight front wheel is a little right....how do i adjust this so the tire is center

    Sounds like your in need of some new bars. Most likely bent. Usually when my bike pulls to the left or right one tire is under or over inflated. But in your case it sounds like something's bent.

    Check your forks they might be bent.
    Make sure your triple tree is aligned and nothing is loose.
    The only time my ytm has ever pulled to one side is uneven tire pressure in rear (only notice doing wheelies). Or fork was bent.

    Bent fork. Was bent right under triple tree couldn't really tell while still together once it came off. Well you can see the bend.

    My forks are not bent i checked them there fine, when i get my handle bars straight and look down at the front fender my front tire is a little left of center, thought my front axle was bent but i pulled it out and looked at it and it,s not bent....so now i,m puzzled

    Fork holes aren't backwards on right side I know stupid question but have seen it.

    Is the tire bead all good? Are the forks mounted at the same heights?

    yamaha 225dx carb

    Does anyone no where i can get a carb, kit for my 225..it spits and sputters, and surges up and down..with a few more issues so i figure it needs rebuilding....thanks

    So what was the problem????

    I got a timberwolf kit and used some of the parts in that. Obviously it will not all swap over. Narrow it down and save yourself some money. If it's a needle valve and seal, then you can just get them. Etc.

    As for a ytm225 specific kit, I have no clue.
