    250R Brake Hose Clamp

Ok 3wheeler guys. I have a dilemma. I put a 5/16 front brake hose on Whiskey Bent but the stock clamp that bolts to the left lower fork tube is way too big. I could wrap something around the hose but it looks Jerry rigged. I bought a Zeta clamp off Ebay but the bolt hole spread is too narrow. I am looking for a clamp that will firmly clamp a 5/16 hose that has about a 17mm center to center hole spread. If I had access to an end mill, I'd make one but I don't. This what I'm looking for. Anything come to mind?

Any of you guys have an XL/XR enduro? actually any make or model. I am looking for a model and year that has a hole center to center for the front brake clamp tab of 17mm.

Sorry I don't have good news-

    All sizes Approx.

1985 and up Honda CR, XL, XR 19.82mm

1990 and up (Probally 1986 & up) Kawasaki KX, KLR, KLX 13.5mm

1989 and up Yamaha YZ, WR 20mm

Thats all I had on hand in my shop to measure.

Can't you just slot one or both holes on you fork leg?

Apparently I need to quit reading metric rulers when I'm tired. The bolt hole spread is 20mm. Thanks Poobee. It looks like the 85-98 CR250R clamps are the same bolt pattern.

I hold that as a reserve in case the one I bought doesn't work but I wanted the red one for color. Thanks Brother. I'll let you know how it works out.

Sweet!, I am here to help.

Note- The stock clamps work & I have never snapped one, but don't look very cool & and your build is sick!

Its on hold for right now. I have to swap out the swinger because the stretch done to this one back in 09 was the wrong length in that the chain falls on a half link and I don't get full stretch out of my chains so to correct the problem once and for all is to have another swinger stretched to the right length which is going to be 4" instead of 4 3/4" as it is now. If somebody is running 13/42 it's not a problem but for stock gearing 13/39, I have to roll my carrier about 100degs before the chain tightens up. The swinger is on the way to my buddy for stretching so I hope to have it back by the end of next week.

Man, I remember those old school half link-master link set ups they worked but were weak.

    Sounds cool throttle on!
