I recently aquired A 1983 Honda ATC 185s a few days ago, it runs Dont look the best though.
Anyways, the issue im having with it is that it has an exhaust leak where it goes into the head. The exhaust is leaking around the muffler right at the engine and it backfires alot. I have taken it off and retighten the nuts that hold it in place, but no dice.
Any ideas?

You are supposed to replace the crush gasket anytime it's removed. Often you can get away without, but just saying, that's probably the problem. Go easy and don't over torque those nuts or you'll have bigger problems! Lol
