awesome photos! i lived in Temecula for about a yra before we moved back to Texas. I was so going to enter my 200x in that till we moved. that is one thing for sure I miss about out there. They let trikes race. Here they do not. But if we get 8-10 dedicated riders, they said they would do a vintage trike class on the MX track. so I am going to work that angle.

Where are you located in Texas? I feel like I've asked you that before.

nice job guys. wanted to come out this year but work takes precedence..... The track looks great.

I raced last year and stunk pretty bad.....stalled it on starting line, but still reeled in 2 guys before the 5 lap finish. That sand is sticky too so messed me up on my riding style as I was trying to slide through the corners, but too much grip and wheelie. rookie mistakes..... but glad I got the opportunity. Maybe next year I will be there again. I had a full body sore for a week after the race last year........ too many beers and left handed cigarettes I guess....lol

I just moved to phoenix AZ - looking for riders to hook up sometime. I will post in riding section soon for AZ riders...

my proof I raced in 2014...hahaha

Too bad you did not make the 5 hour journey. 3 hours from Phoenix would put you in Indio

CALVMX runs about once a month at 3-4 different tracks that allow trikes. Cahuilla creek is the BEST track and is very trike friendly. I have not had much chance to race the last year or so, but check the CALVMX website for the schedule.

Welcome to Phoenix!! There are a couple of us here in the greater Phoenix area!! Tomorrow down in Buckeye there is an MX race Arizona cycle park. Even if you do not race its fun to hang out in the pits and spectate!
