1983 Suzuki Alt 50 complete restoration

I found this one on craigslist around Christmas time. It just had a top end rebuild and new brakes. The automatic oiler had been disabled and the rear plastics were trashed but it had good tires and overall was pretty tight.
I tore it completely down and repainted/coated/polished everything. It's not perfect but I'm satisfied with it. I didn't take as many pics as I wish I would have but here is what I have.

    This was the craigslist pic

Here was the result of the tear down.

It was from northeastern Ohio so it had some rust on the surface. Here is the axle when I removed it.

I had to straighten the frame. It had a slight bend in it, as did the forks.

Here was the front fender. Very weathered but 95% complete. I trimmed a little bit off of the bottom louver to eliminate a chunk missing.
After a lot of sanding and buffing it turned out pretty nice.

Here are a few finished parts and bolts/hardware after stripping and painting.

And here is the motor. I ended up painting the cylinder jug black as well.

Totally stripped the tank and repainted it as well sealed the inside with Red Kote. New decals too obviously.

I bought a used rear fender off of eBay. I actually bought a aftermarket one first but decided to go with an OEM.
It was pretty weathered but it was complete with no cracks.

After a few hours of sanding and buffing I was impressed with the outcome.

Decals really gave it a finished look.

I ended up installing a aftermarket seat cover with the yellow "50" versus the white "suzuki".

The rims were a little rough but cleaned up nice.

    Here they are primed.

I went with the factory color for the rims but decided to go blue on the hubs.
Here it is going back together.

    Motor installed.

    Tank and foot pegs on..

    Getting close!

    Finally finished!
The only thing left to install is the front mudguard which I plan to purchase from a 3ww member soon.

Yeah I forgot about the new clutch
It hadn't been started in 2 years and so it wouldn't start when I went and looked at it. I got him down a $100 on his price, took it home cleaned the spark plug and it fired up on the first pull!

I am putting together an alt 50. I installed the motor and it doesn't line up perfectly with the front tire. It sits more to the pullstart side. Is this how these are or is my frame bent. If you could get some pics from the front that would be a very big help. Thank you.
