Thanks guys I appreciate the compliments. Sometimes my inability to do anything less than 100% gets me in over my head but I can't help it

You can actually kind of tell in this pic by looking through the front fender that the motor is slightly offset.

Look great. Good job.
I'm very impressed with your work.... I wonder if you could help an old guy out. I have the same bike.... my father had bought it new (for $500) way back when I was about 25 for MY kids (his grand kids), I'm 60 now. He still had it and now I do... it is a bit rough but I've decided to fix it up. I regret I have very little experience in this kind of thing so if you have time.. a question or two. Regarding parts... I don't need many... but you mention 'aftermarket' parts... where are you getting these... the seat cover I have is real bad (as is the front fender) and I'm wondering where you found those (along with the decals... very nice work). Anyway.. any advise you can give me would be appreciated... I'm doing this for MY grandchildren thinking it would be great to see them ride it 35 years after their dads did. (I'm not sure of protocol here... I'm not that computer literate either... I'm tempted to give you my email so we could talk directly but will see if you respond to this first... THANKS!)
I would be glad to help. You can email me at natestaxidermy@hotmail.com. I'll reply with my phone number
