    A stupid question

I have to ask because I have read that it has been done before. However, I cannot find the answer I need, so here goes ..........

When pulling recoil to start tri moto, which direction is the crank suppose to rotate?
    Clockwise or counter clockwise?
I am starting to think I wound it backwards, but want to verify. I can't see how it could be, but you never know.

    Thanks again

Im not sure the answer, but could you put it in gear and push it forward to see how it rotates? IDK.

Not sure what you are looking for here but on some of the early 2 stroke yamaha dirt bikes the engine would run backwards or forwards. If you crossed the wires coming from the stator/flywheel the engine would fire in reverse and the bike would actually move backwards if you put it in gear. My guess is that the TY is an old dirt bike engine as well. Some of the old harley davidson 2 stroke golf carts do this everytime you engage the reverse lever.

I was using the recoil last night and I do believe it spins counter clock wise.
