    SX and ES Motor

Is the 250es motor the same as the 250sx motor? Or, is there a difference? Appreciate the input. Thanks.

Same motor, tranny is geared slightly different. But a direct swap if that's what you want to know. How did the knobs work out Rich?

Thanks for the info. Knobs are still in the package and I apologize for not getting back to you on that. I'm actually going to start building my ES this summer. So, I'm sure that they will be perfect.

there are a lot of gearing differences between the 2 trans. Starter reduction gears, starter gear, and so on are different. If your swapping an entire motor your fine, if your swapping top ends, your fine, if your trying to fix an es or sx with the other's trans, may be a problem.
Hope this helps. Also the rear diff have different gearing as well.
