    Big Red Tires !

Wanting to change out the knobby tires on my 1985 250es Big Red....as it doenst go through the mud very well....especially when pulling the trailer . So I was thinking about the ITP mudlite AT's on the back....but not sure if I need a better steering tire or not...or stick with the knobby up front . Thankx in advance !!!

Heres a link to the ITP's

Tires are purely a personal choice. Your only limit is finding ones that fit your rim size. I've had good luck with Mud Lites and better luck with Swamp Lites. Lots of guys swear by Bear Claws. Whatever you choose won't guarantee never being stuck again. And you may see more sky than you want when she hooks up pulling a trailer through the mud. Good luck!

When I bought my Big Red, it came with GBC gators on it. I was surprised how well they did. Went up and out of a creek bed and started to spin and when I let off they hooked up pulled me up. They are 6 ply and kind of stiff.

There is a thread on here some where about big red tires and mostly it comes down to choice and what you plan on doing with it , like is it more of a work bike or play bike and what type of terrain you plan to ride it on
If its on the internet its got to be true they can't put any lie's on the internet
