    1st or 2nd Gen 250r Grab Bar on a 3rd Gen?

I've just about resigned myself to the fact that I will likely have to go the route of an aftermarket grab bar on my 85R...especially after seeing one go for $290 on eBay a couple of days ago

My only other option would be to get one for another year. Does anyone know if a grab bar from a 1st or 2nd gen R would even bolt up to a 3rd gen frame?

    Thanks.

PRM makes some cool stuff, I can't believe they are still around we used there stuff in 1984-1985ish.

Most cool ATC companies are long gone.

I would ditch you six pack rack, unless you are bad at wheelies.

Yeah, I will either go with a DG or a PRM if I can't find a stocker to finish the bike off with. My goal when I got it a few months ago was to make it a "complete" rider. Not necessarily restored...just a complete original bike.

I have found everything that it needed except for an OEM grab bar...and I'm not going to spend $300 for one. So...was just wondering if one for another year would fit the frame. If not, then I will likely get the DG in textured black which is about as close to OEM in terms of looks that I have found.
