    Resurrecting a tri zinger

I'm trying to fix up an 85 tri zinger for my kids. Its not the prettiest but she fired right up, runs good, and still has the old original tires on it. The red plastics looked more like pink (almost white) and the seat is killed. I scraped the crap out of the plastics and i must say, it turned out really nice. I am ordering tires but I'm changing the rear tires to more of a square shaped tire for added stability and I already ordered new decals, brakes, carb, ect.....I want it to look original (minus the rear tires) but I can't find a yellow seat anywhere. If need be I can make a yellow cover fit but it won't say Yamaha on the seat like its supposed to. I also need to find a yellow bar pad.the one thats there wont clean up? I can only find black and red. Anyone trying to let one go or know where I can find one?Click image for larger version.

Love the red Zinger! Can't help with the seat other than to point you to Cosmic Quads for a great one or some yellow marine vinyl for a DIY.

I had a yellow one for a while. It was a riot but they're so tiny.

Thanks, now I'm looking for another one. I was hoping to find a yellow one to do the same thing but with reverse colors kinda like its evil twin or something but my daughter wants the blue one for some reason. Either way I've got my eye out for any zingers popping up in my area.
