    What's this part from?

I found a kick starter at Haspin on Friday that is a right side forward or left side rearward kick, with the part number "HB9" on th side. I know it is a Honda part No., but it is not for a 350X. It is about an inch or two shorter than my 350X kick. Anyway, just wanted to know, because someone might want it.

I don't want to sell it just yet.

Let me just take this time to say that I think this board is the most impressive source of ATV/ATC information available. I took this part into my local honda/yamaha dealer and they had no idea what it was from. One of them even stated that he knew for sure it was not from a 250R or any other 2-stroke, because it is forward kick. Aren't 250Rs forward kick? If you say this is from a trx250R, and they say 250Rs aren't forwared kick (right hand side) then someone is wrong.

    :-D

That is sad.. a that honda shop needs to read a few new books.. or atleast work on an atv once in a while.

Yes 250r's are forward kick... and if they really wanted to know just look up the part number from a selling website of honda parts.
