Any 86/87 Tecate owners with 10 inch wheels installed???

I'm doing a restoration and when I installed the front brake caliper along with my stock wheel I was thinking to myself "how could a 10 inch wheel fit on here with the brake caliper already being so close to the stock wheel?" I just feel like any smaller of a wheel and the two would rub. The post for the 10 inch wheel buy from Xowner says it will fit just fine without any grinding needed, but there aren't any pictures of it installed on a Tecate. Does anyone have any pics of their wheel installed on their Tecate? I'm looking to buy new tires soon and I know the old wheel doesn't have nearly as many tire options as the 10 inch wheel.

The wheel is narrower so they fit without any mods.

Yeah they fit. I haven't mounted a tire on my 10 inch rim yet but I did a clearance check and they are fine.

Thanks guys! I was worried that I had bought a giant wheel shaped paperweight! Hey loizl, where are those rear wheels from? I like that they have the same shine finish as the front wheel.

I bought the Chris White front rim but I believe I would have bought the race cut rim if I had seen it,although more money. Did you buy one of those twoTrikegasm? Got mine on 3bay. Are those tires blue Lozi?

Here's my 85 build with the 86 front end & an Xowner 10" front tire. It fits perfect, if you want one for your 86 Tecate get one, they fit!

the rear wheels are 9 inch itp t9 rims. and yes these tires are blue

Yeah I bought one a while back from Xowner but haven't had to the chance to see for myself if it would fit because the bike is currently at my uncle's house. I appreciate you guys assuring me it will!
