    triz490..... triz250 with yz490 motor

I need torque and pattern specs for head studs and gasket for my 1983 Yamaha yz490 motor in my triz250? If anybody has this info please help. I know it's a dirtbike motor but it's in a three wheeler so I thought I would try.

I've got a kx500 engine in my tecate 250 A1 and I just went to the bike shop and got a book for the bike. Seems to work out fine.

Head nut torque spec is 16 ft/lbs according to my clymer manual for my IT (I have a 425). Tighten them in a criss-cross pattern like a 6-lug wheel. I prefer 2 steps, so go to 8 ft/lbs first in sequence, then to 16 in sequence again. Just a recommendation, though, check the studs where they thread into the cylinder very carefully first, the 465's and 490's like to pull threads out.
