what steering damper will work in an ATC? I need one for my 350x for the race I am building.

None are a plug and play on the ATC, unless you luck out and find a RAM steering stabilizer with accompanying linkage. Newer styles have to be modded in some way to fit. The three below are ones that I have seen work well with slight modification.

I have ones for WER on mine, I did have to make a plate to mount it to, get plate to fit bolt holes on triple clamp, bolt linkage bracket to frame, make longer linkage arm. It wasn't easy, required a good bit of labor, grinding, and thinking. I do think I have an plate I made to mount on a 350x triple clamp, I will look another day for it.
if you do, let me know I will buy it form ya. I need to get something for my 350x doing 80-90 in the desert or sand is not going to be fun trying to keep it stable w/o one.

I would think a Scotts could be fit up to just about anything if you're willing to make a few simple brackets up. Not cheap, but the first time you don't lose the bars and smash your head into a pile of rocks it pays for itself. The best part is that you can buy just one and use it on a bunch of bikes if you want.

If you plan to run long straightaways and you're not worried about fighting the damper a bit when turning you can mount up a cheap drag bike damper off the side of the frame to the lower tree. The was one on a Honda posted up here a few months back that would be easy enough to copy.
You can also just over tighten the steering head bearings a little, but don't over do it.
It sucks to get old
Scotts is the gold standard, no pun intended.
Plus they are made by- Ohlins.

Give them a call, (Nice guys) they have a ton of mounts that may work, the problem on a ATC is the clamps are so far apart.
They also have a weld on version.
You can also adjust them while riding.
