200x Cylinder Oil Plug .. What does it do?

I'm putting together my top end for my 200x... Just wondering what the purpose of this plug is..

I'm pretty sure I lost mine so I need to order a new one.

The thought of putting it together without it did cross my mind, but, following the shop manual, its pretty explicit about NOT doing that.

Helps plug the whole Honda drilled to allow oil to flow to the cam and rockers. It is required.

Like Mike said, plugs a drilled passageway that brings oil to the cam. Without it you have a huge loss of oil to the cam bearing, and lower oil pressure in the bottom end as well. I wonder how easy is is to tap the head and replace it with a tiny allen-head set screw? I may try it on my current 200X build.
