First let me say thank you 3ww! I have spent many hours reading and making notes for present and future builds. Now, I need the impossible. My 1985 250sx needs rear fenders, I have looked at the Maier stuff and its ok I guess but I really want the original fenders. I realize im asking for alot but was hoping someone out there may have something they could part with. Thanks again guys, you kick ass!!

Hey welcome. It's gunna be tough to find some nice OE rear fenders, but they are out there. After a year of looking, I was just about to give up and go with some Maiers, when I was lucky enough to buy some from a fellow forum member.

I think it depends on what the individual wants. Me, I like the overall look of the oe, the fit and finish and the rear trunk feature. Are OE superior to Maiers? In my opinion, yes, but that doesn't mean that Maiers suck either.Originally Posted by ugethergoinyet

Thank you for the info. I hope my 250sx looks as nice as yours when im done. I bought another bike Sunday, an 86 350x. Is 5 wheelers to many for 1 guy?..lol thanks again
