    Hey 250SXracer - pipes

i was just looking at your signature......what is a "Cobra White Brothers exhaust" ?
That is two different manufactuers of pipes....Cobra probably is the only company that actually makes a pipe for the 250SX anymore, White Brothers never did and never will.
I wish i had a DG pipe for my 250SX, but the don't make them anymore.
My 250SX and 200X have stock pipes (i took the Kerker off my 200X, to keep from pissing off the neighbors)
Now my TRX250EX on the other hand might need a Pro-Circuit or Big Gun

i know they r to diff manufactures and i know white brother doesnt make a full exhuast but they make a universal muffler that fits it.

i guess i should have replied to your "exhaust" po

ahhh, a universal fit....i always wondered how well that would work.

Any tuneable type pipe is better than the Cobra, i am sure...

Got any pics of your SX ??

Archery, I have herd from several peopel that the stock 350X carb is very good, and isnt worth replacing unless major motor work is done. I have learned the hard way, not to mess with carbs, thats my take on the situation.

    Carb

What carb to use depends on severall things such as is the engine stock, what kind of improvements are you looking for, and gas milage. for stock and slightly modified motors looking for low to mid range improvements a 36mm PE keihin is a good choice, for highly modified motors or looking to gain top end performance a 38mm PE keihin is a better choice. if money is no object then a keihin 39mm FCR is the best carb out there.
