Hello all, new atc200s owner here

    Hello all,

I recently bought a 1985 Honda ATC200s and after reading a couple of threads here I decided to register!

I got the 200s running after cleaning the carb but it only came with one good tire. I'm looking around CL and can't find any 22-11-8 or 22-12-8 tires. I found some 19-7-8 tires for a good price, would those work ? they are both for an 8 inch rim so I wouldn't see why not right ? any ideas ?

The 22-11-8 original tires were used as the best all around tire for suspension, ride height and traction as well as gearing. Changing the tire size will affect all of that. It really depends on how and where you are going to ride. And budget. I put a pair of 22-11-8 Kenda Scorpions on one of my 185s's and the only thing that I really notice is the ride quality is harsh. Airing down can only help so much. If you go down much below a 20 inch tire you will have some problems with ground clearance. Awesomedad
