that seems like a pretty newb question for you Jeremy. cross the part #'s Honda is pretty good with superseding the numbers. jtsprockets.com will also show you the measurements for both machines.

Im not sure on the rear but I think the front sprocket on the 450r is a fine spline and a little bigger shaft wise than the 250r.
