Any pics of installed inverts on 85/86 250r

Looking at doing an invert swap on a budget and wanted to see what other guys have done or are doing. If you have any pics of a swap than feel free to post just wanted to see the different options.
    Thanks

Thanks that was a good read. I seen somewhere that they were using triples of a vtx1800 but haven't heard of how they handle. If it's a good proven setup than I think that's the route I'd like to take. I have the vtx triple but having a hard time locating a set of ktm forks

I know Kasey, here on the boards, has used the VTX triple clamps on a few of his 3-wheelers, and I don't recall him complaining of any handling issues. For the KTM forks, they pop up on ebay fairly frequently. Good luck.

Do you guys with inverted forks beef up the frame? Being that the inverted forks don't flex like the OEM forks do..

Ugh. I wish this fallacy would die.

Every single broken frame I've heard of on a 250R in the last 10 years has been one bikes with STOCK forks because they bottom and beat the hell out of everything else.

I believe Jacob has had his frame gusseted. I agree that the biggest issue with frames breaking is because of bottoming.

Yes of course his is and I wasn't using it as an example as a frame that hasn't broke, but as a picture of a bike with them.

Again, every frame I've heard of breaking in the last 10 years has had conventional forks. every single one of them. So what if the inverts "don't flex" they also provide a better bottom resistance than a stack of bricks which is the real problem
