    Cool Amazing Big Red Buy

I just made a great 3 wheeler buy. I just got 2 running 1985 Big Reds AND a 1986 parts machine all for $450. I bought them off a local farmer and they didn't work at the time and he "didn't wanna fool with them anymore." His loss my gain. One just needed the neutral sensor cleaned then ran like a dream, the other needed a carb swap from the parts bike and the tank is being de-rusted. All and all, that like $225 ea for running Reds. Sometimes, I feel like a theif I am not sure if I am gonna keep the 3rd a parts bike, or re-build it up though...

I bought a 1983 Yamaha YT175k for $20. Took it home, cleaned, started, but it needs a little tranny work.

That's pretty awesome too. I hope that tranny don't give you too much trouble.

    Very nice.
Check / change the gear oil in the rear axles.
It's only a little over 3 oz so need every drop.
    I'd keep them all btw.
I hear they ain't making any more.

Gear oil and engine oil were promtly changed. The old owner told me they were sitting for at least a year. The gear oil that came out was a nice frothy grey color. Im glad I changed it.
