    85 250r case material?

    Hey all, looking for a quick response here...
    What material are the 85 250r cases made out of, specifically the left side case?
    I'm taking it to a fabrication shop tomorrow to have it welded where the clutch actuator is...I called them and asked if they could do it, and they wanted to know what material it's made out of... I said I think it's aluminum..just wanted to give them a call back and specify what it really is before I take it over there and they can't do anything..
    I know on my 85 CR250R it's aluminum and magnesium

    Its all aluminum on the 250r.
