Yup.
I believe you are thinking of Bill Ayers. Alinsky died in 72. But yea, Ayers was an Alinksy fan boy.
For those who aren't aware of Alinsky's Rules for Radicals:
1 “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.” Power is derived from 2 main sources – money and people. “Have-Nots” must build power from flesh and blood.
2 “Never go outside the expertise of your people.” It results in confusion, fear and retreat. Feeling secure adds to the backbone of anyone.
3 “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.” Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty.
4 “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.
5 “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.
6 “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.” They’ll keep doing it without urging and come back to do more. They’re doing their thing, and will even suggest better ones.
7 “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.” Don’t become old news.
8 “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new.
9 “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.” Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist.
10 “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.” Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.
11 “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.” Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to the problem.
12 “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.

Liberalism suspends the intellect of its victims, while at the same time tricking them into believing that they're smarter than everyone else.

I probably shouldn't be talking....what did I watch this week?
Gotham
The Flash
Agents of SHIELD
and tomorrow is Arrow.
OK maybe I just don't like the twisted creepy shows.
"See, morbid and creepifying, I got no problem with, long as she does it quiet-like. "
Trikes:
1982 Honda ATC250R(in process), 1984 Honda ATC110, 1984 Honda 200s, 1985 Kawasaki KLT160(not running...yet)
Quads:
1990 Suzuki LT250S, 2013 Suzuki LT-Z400, 2014 Honda TRX450R SE
I didnt always feel like a prude.
I grew up on Carlin, Porky's, and Eddie Murphy Raw. I've seen Gene Simmons wife nekkid and Tawny Kitain ride a jaguar like a good little rocker slut.....but now I'm a grandparent and it's different now. Back then, the general public tried not to act trashy despite what they watched on TV. Today people go out of their way to act as trashy as TV has become and like TV, the more shocking the more the attention. The more the attention, the more it reinforces bad behavior.
I didn't believe in censorship because I thought all folks are intelligent and rational enough to know where to draw the line of decency....I was dead wrong about people being smart enough to behave with some class. Its the same reason so many other seemingly good ideas never work out like you expect them to. The ignorant ruin everything.
Ah Yes.......Bill Ayres.....Terroriste Extraordinaire...Weather Underground dude...I forgot about him....He was like the Kazinsky of the 60`s right? and now our little bomb-making coward is like the Education Secretary? How did this become a slight oversight during congessional confirmation hearings?
Quentin Tarantino is single handedly responsible for poisoning my fragile little mind
I was on FOX NEWS today and clicked on a plane crash. It said graphic content.
It actually showed some people that were killed! Still in their seats or missing limbs.
I thought WTF?? Anyone can click on this; I didn't want to see that!
All our government does is distract us while they steal from us, misspend our tax $ and ruin our country
Every morning there's enough blood on the front of most Mexican newspapers to top up the Red Cross stocks and right next to it is a women posing in about 6 square inches of fabric all in plain view of anyone old enough to walk into the 711. I've become numb to it all.
It sucks to get old
The only time i agree with showing that kind of stuff on the news sites is if the police killed some criminals. Little Timmy might think twice about knocking over the liquor store if he has flashbacks to his childhood and seeing robbers shot up on the news.
But as far as wrecks and crashes, that's not important to the story and should be kept out of public view out of respect for the families involved.
Suicide Hill Survivor
The rides:
1981 ATC110
1982 ATC185
1983 ATC185s
1984 ATC200es
1985 ATC200x
When the going gets tough, the tough get sideways
"If it bleeds, it leads." And makes the network money.
It's just like a freeway accident: You don't really want to look, but you do anyway.
Besides, what's wrong with violins? I find it can be soothing at times.
And when Lindsey Sterling is playing, it's easy on the eyes too.

Referring to Ironchop and Scootertrash Ayers and Alyinski comments above:
Remember that In 1969, Hillary Rodham wrote a 92-page senior thesis for Wellesley College titled "There Is Only the Fight . . . ": An Analysis of the Alinsky Model.
