    atc forks got me stumped

I'm guessing this was a custom job because I cant find any pics that look like this.

all three of my tires are the same size.

My question is if I get a stock fork are the front tires the same width as the back?

Its a honda atc 200, pull start, chain drive. (don't know if its an e/es/m) don't know the year either.

    Welcome. WOW definitely home made.
It looks like you have a 200s. The front tire would be the same as the rear.

    Thanks Joseph!

The more I look at the front end the more crooked it gets. Didn't notice it too much until I took the front fender off.

This one sat for about 8 years covered in a garage. Inherited it from my dad who bought it like this.

With minimal tinkering, freed a couple cables, oil change, carb clean etc. its running smooth. I can see why they still exist!

Ordered new cables though because of the stories of them breaking down the trail.

I'll make a before, during and after post somewhere.

Someone really wanted shocks up front instead of a solid fork, but I cannot figure out why they went for that giant front tire. I wouldn't ride it like that. It looks super sketchy.

well actually that's either an 81 or 82 atc 200 no letter afterword just plain 200. What i cant understand is why they would do this when a 200m or 83 atc 200 front shocks are a direct bolt on to this bike????

Got it running! Needed new valve stems and seals, and new piston rings and got the proper front end. Also got new cables all round and pads from the site here! also did the rear bearings but they seem worse than the ones that where on it to begin with.
Thanks for the further replies sorry I didn't post sooner had a busy summer. Had to re use the chopped up front fender cause I haven't gotten a replacement yet.
And yes once I pulled those crappy home made forks I found the sticker its an 81' 200 with no letter. she runs great just need to fix it surging in first gear when you first hit the gas.
