Barnett clutch kit for 200x only 5 plates?!?

So I'm continuing to build my 200x bottom end. Got cases back together external shift mech on. Moving to clutch and I open up my new Barnett dirt digger clutch kit part no: 305-35-10001 and there are only 3 friction plates and 2 steels?! Also the springs are shorter than stock. Was this just not stocked right or is right? I searched online for a good description (# of plates, etc) of that part # and couldn't find it.

Anyone else have this issue before. I got it off fleabay

Yea would appreciate it. I contacted the seller and am waiting for a follow up. It sucks cause I bought the kit over a month ago so return is probably out of the question.

Same kit, mine has 4 1 7/16" long springs. Got 5 friction plates, all the same. If you post a pic I can tell you if they are like my plates....I'm still computer lazy.

Thanks for the info. I called the barnett reseller. It was a packaging issue. Called services at ridersdiscount.com and they were excellent. Ordered the 2 friction plates directly from Barnett and shipped them to me at no charge. Also ordered and shipped the 2 steels i need for $12 extra. Not bad. Was thinking they'd leave me hanging. I also called barnett and got a measurement on the spring length, 1.45", which is very close to what you measured fieldy. He said their springs sometimes very in size but are rated to stock.

Do i sand down the steel plates before install? Or just spray em w carb spray?

I just clean them and put them in. The last clutch I replaced was on my IT425. That's all I did, and its working fine.
