I've been riding for my entire life and just recently came across a 1985 200X. I had one new back in 1985 and like a dummy I sold it in the early 90s. Ever since that time, I have always thought about my 3 wheeler, and more so, how much I have missed it.
A few years ago I started casually looking around for a 200X but most were complete wrecks and the rest were priced well out of my budget. I always kept the faith that one day I would just stumble upon the right machine and recently that is exactly what happened.
A guy I know spent a good amount of time tracking down a 200X for his wife. He rides a 350X and the plan was for her to ride along with him. After about a month of trying to get her to ride the 200X, she flat out told him that she refuses because it's too hard for her to start. Here is where I come in.
The guy really was pissed and just wanted the 200X gone. Given the shape of the trike, I fully expected insane pricing but when I asked him what he wanted for it, he came back with a number that almost knocked me over.
After 20 years of pining, I'm finally back on 3 wheels.
