    What forks are these?

having a hard time telling what these forks are. Same diameter as the 350x fork tube. Has the tab for a front brake drum but has air.

I may be mistaken, but unless I am having a brain fart, it seems the only model Honda that had that type of forks with drum front brake was the SX...

It's either sx or '81 250r. But those should both be 33mm. 350x has 35mm.

Nope neither. Sx had socket heads on the top of the forks. These have the smaller socket with Schrader valve on top. But no mounting holes for a brake if it was for a first gen 250r

If they are 35mm, which you said they are the same as a 350X which is 35mm they they are not ATC forks.

They are 1982-83 Showa short travel motorcycle forks off a Honda XR200 (They were very short and had a drum front brake)

Pretty sure on this, but its been a few years since I have held a pair in my hands.Click image for larger version.

Excellent thanks for the quick responses. I thought I had myself a pair of 350x forks untill I got home with them.

Whats the number on Showa label? I have a pair of XL250S forks in my scrap pile that look very similar, but had no bushings on the fork tube. The XR200s do, so they'd make decent parts forks for 83-84 250R or 350Xs.
