anybody know if a stock 1986 250r with stock exhaust would be below 96db to ride in Wisconsin if I get stopped? I took my esr pipe off and installed the tsock exhaust but need to be below 96db

I am not 100% sure, but for bikes the AMA off road maximum sound level is 99db it that is accomplish with aftermarket pipes and quiet version of a aftermarket silencer.
You should be fine, stock they were very quiet.
