    250es Tank refurb. Pics!!

Couple of pictures of my freshly done tank, looks mint, couldn't be happier! Wouldn't be many tanks like this left around especially in Australia. Thanks to Ric at ATCHEAVEN for the decals. Click image for larger version.

I hope my 200x tank comes out as good as that one. It at my cousin in laws dads body shop. I'm pretty good with paint but that tank needed lots and lots of body wok that i just could not give it.

I have heated tanks with a heat gun and plugged the fuel line openings. I then used compressed air to pressurize the tank... Continued to heat dents with heat gun and dents just literally !pop! out. Of course tank was completely dry and off bike. That tank looks sweet- definitely a restoration to be proud of!

Thanks guys, nah panel beater told me to not clear over the decals as if it ever needs to be touched up it becomes a massive PITA. In a bit cheesed as I think one of the tank decals is a bit crooked, the more and more I look at it! Think this tank might just be to nice to put on my trike!

I did a 86 sx tank that came out really nice ,,,The more I looked the more the right side decal was ,,, buggin me . So I took a hair dryer , and took my time to remove it , and re-stick it . Came out better the second time .
