    what is the brass nipple coming out of the top? is it a return or what? just to be sure im not talking about the gas inlet!

    Should have a hose 1/4" i think. I ran mine up to snorkel. Your talking the brass nipple that looks just like the fuel nipple?

    the hose goes up under the fuel tank on the driverside , slips right into one of the metal hooks under there.

    so it's a 1/4'' tube that sucks air in?

    yes it allows the carb bowl to breathe for the gravity fed fuel

    Ah, this is my first attempt at single cylinder engines. I work on small block chevys and old carbureted motors. im not used to smaller stuff yet. Thank you all for the help!!!
