OK 250SX plow fans...I actually videotaped it in action.

    Hi all.

I get a lot of requests for video of the SX plowing. Everyone is curious if it works. Well it does. Last weekend, I built our track from scratch with the trusty SX. We had about 3 inches of snow overnight, so you wouldn't think it's a big deal, but when you're plowing out a 1/8 mile track, the snow tends to pile up. Each of us took turns keeping the track in shape throughout the day. It was funny, you never had to ask for help. People would hop on it and take it out for a circle-jerk. My buddy Mike is riding it for this cruise around the track.

This is definietly one of my favorite bikes. It's sporting a new set of front and rear "beer" racks this year.

chris is that in front of the Castle. Is that Mike B. plowing? I took a drive there this weekend. I saw you parked in parking lot loading your bikes. I knew it was you because i saw the Maryland plates. The lake looked a little scary on Sat. The arms looked frozen but the middle was wide open water.

    Hi Matt

You should have stopped us. We took my friend's truck up this time. Yeah, the lake was sketchy in spots, but it was 6 inches from Castle Tavern through NJ. I think someone fell through on the other side of the lake, but didn't see it. We could see the fire trucks and police cars from the east shore. I have to admit that I wasn't going to check it out. We had a lot of fun. There weren't any real races this weekend. Everyone was dialing in their bikes this weekend. There were a bunch of new motors in bikes this year as everyone's trying to step up their game.

The SX is a champ. It's been a garage queen for the past 10+ years, but I bring it up to make race tracks. That's the only time I use it.

For those interested, I will take some close up pics when I can and will post them. You can take it from there. It's a Cycle Country Plow. You can probably buy a blade from them and make your own brackets.

I updated the "Ice Racing" page on my website to include this video permanently. You need Windows Media Player or a WMV decoder to get the file to play. The quality isn't that good, but I can compress it a lot using .wmv files.
