Kawasaki tecate exhaust

Hey guys was checking out that 86 Tecate thats on ebay right now, does anyone know anything about the silencer thats on there, "Richter Privateer", I'm pretty sure one of those came on my buddys 85 250r.. anyone know the story on them? are they any good or just junk.Thanks guys..

that was a well known brand of silencer from the early to mid 80s and should work just fine

theres very little difference between 2 stroke racing silencers [no spark arrestor] other than some have easily removable baffles . . and of corse some are bigger than others and they vary in length . . so basically its not a junk brand and if the internal baffle goes bad you can buy new ones and wel it on to the end cap or buy one with the right size end cap.

Thanks man, Just curious, what pipe do you have on that Tecate, tried to hook my privateer pipe uo to my stock pipe and it wasnt even close to fitting the way the Tecate pipe bends so far out..
