Anyone know what model bike this DG pipe is for?? Came off my '84 ATC300R

Hello all, Pulled this pipe off my '84 ATC250R that has the 300 cylinder on it. Pipe matches up to the exhaust flange and routes around through the frame almost like it was made for the trike, except its too tall and rubs on the tank. Pipe was on the bike when I bought it. It has a unique flat area at the top of the expansion chamber.

    I'll take a stab/guess.

It looks like a MX bike pipe that was too tall, so they chopped it, I am thinking 1983 Honda CR480 DG pipe modded.

    How does it run?

My guess is its the 83-84 250r DG pipe. I think it was cut down to clear the plastic tank.Iv heard of other 83-84 250r owners having fitment issues with the pipe with plastic aftermarket tanks.

It ran pretty good with a Mikuni carb that came with it, it was just so jam packed in between the cylinder and air box . I've since switched it back to the Keihen, but can't get it dialed in for the life of me. Will probably switch back to the Mikuni and eliminate the box eventually. But don't want the pipe on it anymore - don't need it rubbing through the plastic fuel tank.
