    *** 1984 Honda 200es question ***

    Good evening, all.

    Quick question - my '84 200es developed a minor (very slight) oil leak coming out from the bottom of the pulse generator cover. Is there an oil seal that needs to be changed behind the spark advance assembly??? Is this a common problem???

    yes there are 3 look at this diagram http://www.partzilla.com/parts/searc...TOR/parts.html and they are # 2, 10 and 11.

    Thanks, Nick for the info & link - much appreciated. I have all 3 on order from my local Honda dealership. Looks like I have a weekend project in store. I hate oil leaks on any of my rides.

    Looks like part # 91203-965-003 was the culprit for the leak. Very simple fix - all buttoned up - oil leak is history - Big Red is back on the trail.
