350X Rear Brake Piston Fiber Insulator

Guys, I'm rebuild the rear caliper on a 350X and you know the fiber insulator on the end of the piston? This one doesn't have one. The piston is in beautiful condition so I'd like to put it back in BUT!!!!! Is there an alternative material I could use in lieu of the stock insulator? It wasn't sold separately so there has to be some sort of material out there I could use. Thoughts?

Pretty sure it is a phenolic material. Similar to a circuit board material, but I don't think a circuit board can take the heat.

There are various temperature ranges for the different grades.

I always just assumed it was asbestos. Honda loved that stuff, especially in their gasket material. Not sure you necessarily need any material there, I think its just there to prevent noise/vibration. I would just put some PBC grease or other good quality brake grease there and try it.
