    85 ATC110 idle problem

I am having an an usual amount of trouble with the carb on my 85 110. I just can't get it to idle consistently. I checked for air leaks in the intake but there are none. I've disassembled and cleaned the pilot and main jet. The slide and needle are moving freely. I have to give the machine some gas to get it to start. It will run fine as long as I keep my thumb on the throttle but even with the idle screw all the way in it will only idle for a few seconds then die. Any ideas what is going on?

Here is a picture of the slide position when the idle screw is all the way in.

Here is the position with the screw all the way out
