Honda ATC 70 quad conversion kit ?

I picked up a 70 with a kit that bolts under the foot pegs but it looks like it's welded to the neck. Front fenders fit over stock tank and look nothing like atc 70 rear fenders. I have restored 50ish Honda atc's but have never seen this particular kit and am curious if anybody else has?Click image for larger version.

sounds to me like a trx 70 they made a quad version of the 70 and your description seems to match that of a trx 70. but, a picture is worth a thousand words

ID:	220506 here is another pic. It looks nothing like a trx 70 frame. I am wondering if it is a Astro or 3x4 conversion Inc kit ?

Funny, got a TRX 70 that I'm doing a mild rehab on, and noticed the ATC70 parts seems cheaper and easier to find (plastics, gas tanks, seats,etc)..

So then got to thinking what a TRX 70 would look like styled like the ATC ... ATC rear fenders, ribbed seat , tank (or a Z50 tank), round headlight and even dual front ATC fenders out front. Kinda like what the trx would have looked like if designed in '79.

This pic is sort of half way! Would it look cool? Call it an ATX 70...

    OR...

Take the 3 wheeler and put TRX 70 seat/plastic to make it more like if they kept making it in the later 80's / 90's.

    Anyone done either?

That thing had the original metal atc tank underneath.

That's what I figured. Pretty good idea and looks seamless..

But... kinda like covering up hardwood with carpet, imo! Having a real metal painted gas tank is a reminder the ATC is a "cycle".
